Origin
In 1971 originally manufacturing mosaic mimic panels for sub-stations and industry, Crafts steadily grew to include products such as panel boards, specialised console enclosures and decorative enclosures with the Aluminium Alutech™ framed modular system which included application to control consoles & desks. Plus big digit digital clocks, counters timers and displays, and alarm annunciators; all these products became respected and well known 'industry brand names' both locally and abroad.
At the time, Mimic Crafts in collaboration with Mimic Components researched and participated in a number of initiatives including in-house and custom projects to develop their sector of the industry and contribute to the market place.
Today Mimic Components cc has taken over works previously done by Crafts, producing electrical products, assembling electrical parts, and creating custom projects within the scope of their field of business.
